With a large, independent studio only 4km from Brisbane's CBD, I can scale a project to meet almost any need. When necessary, I call on freelance assistance and an experienced producer with whom I have worked for many years to conduct larger or more complex shoots anywhere in the country.

I am an expert with light, and in photography lighting is everything.  In addition to having the latest and highest quality equipment, I bring to every project my 36-plus years of experience photographing architecture, people, gems and jewellery, cars, and food. In my experience, a great photograph is 90% thought and only 10% technique. Hence, when we work together, I will:

  • Add value to a design brief. I can decipher a design brief, but won’t just accept it at face value. Where necessary, I will contribute a new and appropriate perspective.
  • Focus on more than the details. My passion is to get it right and to simultaneously have fun. I make sure everyone is relaxed and enjoying the process, so that I can also concentrate on the finer points of lighting - creating far better shots in the process. Few can make this same claim.

With the same equipment as any photographer, I can induce subtle lighting changes that dramatically improve the quality of the image. With my top-end equipment, I can get even better results.

  • Collaborate with artists, models, designers and others
  • Compose shots to get the best results

Then, you will receive a proof that is closely calibrated and tested to look exactly like what you will get from your printer. I ensure there are no surprises when you receive your materials from your printer.

Finally, the extremely high resolution files you receive on disk can be used in any number of applications. Nothing but quality; nothing but the best.
